Shona L. Chisholm—known to many simply as Lady Sho—is an evangelist, author, speaker, and unapologetic voice calling this generation to reject cultural Christianity and embrace biblical discipleship.
Her message is raw.
Honest.
Biblical.
And impossible to ignore.
She doesn't preach self-help. She preaches surrender. She doesn't build platforms around personalities. She points people to Jesus. Whether speaking from a conference stage, ministering in a local church, or sitting across the table over dinner, her assignment remains the same:
Help people follow Christ—even when culture says not to.
Culture has a new truth every week.
Jesus doesn't.
That's why Lady Sho has devoted her life to calling people back to the only standard that never changes—the Word of God.
She isn't interested in helping people become a better version of themselves.
She's passionate about helping people become faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Culture may make you popular, but only Christ can make you whole.
At just 35 years of age, doctors discovered multiple blood clots in her brain after she suffered a massive stroke. Medical professionals questioned how she survived—and even more, how she walked away without any deficits.
Lady Sho believes one of the greatest threats to today's Church isn't persecution.
It's compromise.
'We've become comfortable changing God's truth to fit cultural opinions instead of allowing God's truth to transform us." She refuses to do that. Her ministry exists to challenge believers to stop asking,
"What does culture approve?" and start asking,"What has God already said?"
Disciples don't follow trends, they follow Christ.
Lady Sho is the author of Married to the Down Low, a transparent account of heartbreak, healing, forgiveness, and God's relentless pursuit of broken people.
She serves alongside her husband, Pastor Donald Chisholm Jr., at The Latter Rain Cathedral in Lockport, New York. She is also a licensed Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), where she serves as the Jurisdictional Director of Pastors' and Elders' Wives. But if you ask her what title matters most...
It isn't speaker.
It isn't author.
It isn't leader.
It's disciple.
